Lens index

Many people spend more time choosing good-looking frames when choosing glasses, but from a health perspective, it is more important to choose a pair of lenses that are suitable for you.
Today we start with how to choose the right index lenses for you.
In the simplest terms, the lens index refers to the thickness of the lens. When you hear numbers like 1.5, 1.56, 1.61, 1.67 or 1.74, they represent different lens thicknesses - the larger the number, the thinner the lens.
So we give the following advice: Choose the right index lenses based on your vision prescription.
0-200 degrees recommended to choose 1.50
200-400 degrees recommended to choose 1.60
400-600 degrees recommended to choose 1.67
700 degrees and above recommended to choose 1.74
Now that we have learned how to choose lenses with a refractive index that suits us, we can then learn which functions to choose....
