Between the virtual and the real, we see the future

In March, the 24th China (Shanghai) International Optics Fair came to a close in Shanghai.

The exhibition brought together the world's top optical brands and cutting-edge technologies, attracting many industry colleagues, optometry experts and consumers to visit.

As the core carrier of the optometry industry, lenses delivered a "connecting reality and the future" answer at this exhibition, redefining clear vision with optical technology.

At this exhibition, we gained some new insights through communication with customers from different regions. We found that they are very interested in fast-change lenses and ultra-hard coating.

From our interactions with customers, we can also learn that consumers are becoming more professional, channels are becoming more discerning, and technology is iterating at an increasingly rapid pace.

This reinforced our belief in one thing: when making lenses, we can't just focus on the resin in front of us; we must see the complete needs of the person behind the resin. This is the true moat of our industry.

Zooming out to the entire exhibition, in the lens section, it's clear that there's a growing demand for higher refractive index, lighter and thinner lenses, stronger wear resistance, and more stable optical performance. This innovation in lenses is driving them to become mainstream.

The 2026 Shanghai Optical Fair showed us that the future of lenses lies in every optical upgrade, every process refinement, and every functional optimization.

A tiny lens may just be the key to a whole new era of vision.
